About Me
Alexus B. Young, M.D. is an OBGYN with Lee OB/GYN.
Dr. Young is originally from Roanoke, Alabama, and attended the University of Alabama to complete her undergraduate degree. She went on to attend The University of Alabama at Birmingham to complete her medical degree, and she completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency with Carolinas Medical Center Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is ABOG board eligible and has received the Gold Humanism Award.
Her medical interests include prenatal care, postpartum care, high risk pregnancy, breastfeeding, in-office gynecologic procedures, minimally invasive gynecology, adolescent medicine, menopause, and abnormal bleeding.
Dr. Young and her husband, Brad, have two children, Charlotte Rose and Blane.
