Bladder control problems, or incontinence, refers to the inability to control the release of urine from the bladder. This can result in leakage, sudden urges to urinate, or frequent trips to the bathroom.

Symptoms: inability to control need to urinate, frequent need to urinate, etc.

A fistula is the abnormal connection between two body parts. In the urological sense, a fistula occurs in women when the bladder and the vagina connect and allows urinary leakage into the vagina.

Symptoms: leakage into vagina, back pain, related urological infections.

Incontinence is a medical condition characterized by the inability to control urination, leading to involuntary leakage of urine. It can affect people of all ages, although it is more common in older adults.

Symptoms: frequent need to urinate, difficulty urinating, leakage of urine during physical activities, etc.

Interstitial cystitis is a chronic condition that causes bladder pressure, pain, and sometimes pelvic pain. The symptoms can range from mild discomfort to severe pain. The exact cause of interstitial cystitis is unknown, but there are treatment options to manage symptoms.

Symptoms: frequent urination, painful menstrual periods, pain during sexual intercourse, bladder pressure, etc.

Kidney stones are hard deposits of minerals and salts that build up over time in your body. Kidney stones can be excruciating to pass and are caused by a variety of factors ranging from diet to weight to related urological conditions.

Symptoms: Severe pain in side and back, pain while urinating, burning sensation while urinating, pain in groin, etc.

Overactive bladder (OAB) is a condition that causes a sudden and uncontrollable urge to urinate. OAB can be caused by various factors, such as nerve problems, bladder muscle issues or certain medications, and treatment options include lifestyle changes, medication and bladder training exercises, as well as surgical treatments including sacral neuromodulation (Axonics) and botox injections.

Symptoms: constant or uncontrollable need to urinate, possible incontinence, frequent urination, etc.

Women's pelvic disorders refer to a range of conditions that affect the pelvic organs and surrounding structures in women. These can include pelvic prolapse, urinary incontinence, and pelvic pain. These disorders can cause a range of symptoms, and treatment options vary depending on the specific condition and its severity.

Pelvic prolapse is a condition in which the pelvic organs, such as the uterus, bladder, or rectum, descend and protrude into the vaginal canal.

Symptoms: leaking urine, bulge out of the vagina, pelvic pressure, discomfort in pelvis, etc.

A urinary tract infection (UTI) is a common condition caused by bacteria that has entered the urinary tract. A UTI is considered recurring when a patient experiences three or more UTIs with in a twelve-month period.

Symptoms: burning sensation while urinating, frequent urination, bloody urine, etc.
