Internal Medicine Residency Program
East Alabama Health's Internal Medicine Residency program has all the infrastructure that you will need to develop into an outstanding clinician. Our hospital has 314 acute-care beds with more than 16,000 inpatient admissions annually. Our curriculum will give you outstanding clinical experiences, but we also commit to develop your team leadership skills, which we believe are vital in the delivery of team-based health care.

East Alabama Health offers a comprehensive Nurse Residency and clinical skills program to support new graduate nurses as they transition into the workforce.
The nurse residency program begins three times a year (summer, fall and winter) based on traditional graduation schedules. All new graduate nurses hired at East Alabama Health are automatically enrolled during the hiring process in conjunction with unit-based orientation.
