J. Randall Newman, M.D., is a gastroenterologist practicing at the Gastroenterology Center of EAMC.
Dr. Newman earned his undergraduate degree in molecular biology from Vanderbilt University He went on to attend medical school and complete his residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he received the Osler Award for Excellence in Clinical Diagnosis by an Intern. He then returned to Vanderbilt to complete his fellowship in gastroenterology.
Dr. Newman's clinical interests include therapeutic endoscopy and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
