About Me

Chelsea Cockrell, M.D. is a member of the team at Lee Obstetrics and Gynecology. After earning her medical degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) in Auburn, Dr. Cockrell completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Cockrell, who is originally from Irvine, Ky., felt God called her to pursue medicine, particularly obstetrics, and she loves that her career allows her to build lasting relationships with her patients through various stages of their lives. Dr. Cockrell and her husband, Mac, have one child. In her free time, Dr. Cockrell enjoys hanging out with her family, going to Braves games, and relaxing by the pool.
