Rishi R. Rajan, M.D.

Rishi Rajan, M.D. is a member of the team at Urology Associates of East Alabama and is board certified in Urology. He earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine and completed both his surgical and urology residencies at Georgetown University Medical Center.

Dr. Rajan has been happy to serve as a urologist for the Auburn-Opelika community since 1996. He is highly skilled and experienced in robotic surgery having been one of the initial surgeons who introduced robotics at East Alabama Medical Center. He is experienced in the full scope of urology and in the early diagnosis and treatment of urologic cancers. He stays abreast of all emerging treatment options and has been awarded the Urolift Center of Excellence for treatment of the enlarged prostate, the Axonics Center of Excellence for treatment of both female and male incontinence and fecal incontinence, and the Bulkamid Center of Excellence for minimally invasive stress incontinence.

Additionally, he has been an assistant professor and clinical preceptor through the Department of Surgery at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine since 2018, having coached and trained an average of ten third- or fourth-year medical students per academic year.
