About Me
Nojan Valadi, M.D., FAAN is a neurologist, and with his subspecialty expertise in stroke, he works predominantly as a neurohospitalist, providing care to inpatients with stroke and neurological illness. Dr. Valadi is board certified in neurology and earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University, where he also completed his neurology residency.
Dr. Valadi serves as the Medical Director of the Neurosciences Service Line with Drs. Mandy Reimer and Michael Hamer at Neurology Center of East Alabama. He practices at EAMC.
Dr. Valadi’s medical interests are stroke and critical care neurology, and he has completed clinical and basic science research in neuroscience, sickle cell and stroke. He was awarded the AHA/ASA Award for Clinical Excellence and the GA-PCOM Award for Clinician of Excellence. He is passionate about clinical education and research and aspires to help EAMC develop a comprehensive neuroscience program to better serve the needs of our community and advance the care for patients with neurological illness through cutting edge research.
Dr. Valadi has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for 16 years. They have four children, Ava, Cameron, Aiden and Tristan. In his spare time, Dr. Valadi enjoys distance running, and coaching and playing soccer and volleyball.
