About the Office of Clinical Research
The mission of The East Alabama Health Office of Clinical Research is to support the organization’s Mission, Vision and Values by providing resources for investigators to conduct clinical and translational research with human participants with the goal of improving health and addressing society’s critical issues through advancing the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease.
The Office of Clinical Research, located on the East Alabama Health (EAH) main campus, opened in 1989 with the goal of supporting investigators who wish to conduct sponsored or pilot clinical and translational studies that advance the understanding, prevention and treatment of human diseases. We welcome investigators to visit our Researcher Resources section for more information on services and resources the Office of Clinical Research can provide to make your study a success. Contact us to set up a tour of the facility or to get more information about services. All members of Lee County and the surrounding communities are invited to volunteer in our studies; visit our Volunteer for Research section for more information.
