Women for Women

An evening to prioritize the physical and mental health of all women in east Alabama | Wednesday, April 9, 2025

The objectives for Women for Women are to:

• ENGAGE – 200 multi-generational women through a fun evening of food/wine and mocktail pairings
• INFORM – women about the importance of prioritizing their health
• CONNECT – women with our community’s women’s health services
• SUPPORT – all women in our community to prioritize their health and have access to care

Think Pink

The 21th Annual Think Pink | Saturday, Oct.4, 2025

The 21th Annual Think Pink will be a very special celebration for our breast cancer fighters and survivors. Please save the date, Saturday, October 4 from 9 - 11:30 a.m. at the Spencer Cancer Center! 

Finding breast cancer early and getting state-of-the-art cancer treatment are two of the most important strategies for preventing deaths from breast cancer. Breast cancer that’s found early, when it’s small and has not spread, is easier to treat successfully. Regular screening tests are the most reliable way to find breast cancer early. 

Think Pink proceeds to support our Breast Health Fund. The Breast Health Fund provides screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and breast MRIs for uninsured women in East Alabama counties.

Swing for Diabetes

The 16th Annual Swing for Diabetes | Date to be announced this summer!

We continue to be very grateful for the leadership of Diana Ramage and Kendall Simmons, two former Auburn University student-athletes who continued on to compete as professional athletes with Type 1 diabetes, in their quest to help patients with diabetes in our local community receive the care and support they need.

All proceeds benefit the Diabetes and Nutrition Center of East Alabama Health to ensure that people in our community are able to receive diabetes education, monitoring supplies, and support to manage this complicated and expensive disease. Sponsorships provide nutrition education activities for the prevention of diabetes and chronic disease in our community.

The EAMC Foundation 12 Days of Christmas Virtual Auction

Nov. 21 - Dec. 3, 2024

Over 50 auction items will be available for bidding during our 12 Days of Christmas Virtual Auction. Proceeds will benefit the expansion of mental health services including the construction of the Center for Mental Health on East Alabama Health’s campus.

EAMC Foundation Christmas Ball

Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025

The EAMC Foundation Christmas Ball is an annual black-tie gala consisting of a reception, silent auction, dinner, live auction, and live entertainment. Funds raised during the Christmas Ball will benefit the expansion of East Alabama Health's Mental Health Services.
