East Alabama Apothecary Specialty Pharmacy
CALL FOR INFORMATION: 334-528-3950The East Alabama Apothecary Specialty Pharmacy team understands that your medical needs may be complex and require special knowledge when collaborating with your medical provider and insurance company. The Specialty Pharmacy is dedicated to providing you with the personal service necessary to ensure that you achieve the most benefit from your therapy.
A specialty pharmacy fills prescriptions for complex, high-cost drugs for various medical conditions. Unlike retail pharmacies, our specialty pharmacy provides a suite of services to support you based on your unique medical needs. For example, the Specialty Pharmacy can provide education about your specific medical conditions and how to manage your symptoms and avoid complications through medication. They also collaborate with your doctor and your health insurance company to ensure that you have access to the right drug for you and that it is covered by your health plan. They can even find out if financial assistance is available that can reduce your costs for these therapies.
