PGY2 Emergency Medicine Residency Program

PGY2 Emergency Medicine Residency Program

The PGY2 Emergency Medicine program is focused on strengthening critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment, yet flexible enough allowing the resident to select learning experiences that will complement their backgrounds and career goals in emergency medicine. Prior to orientation, the program director will create a personalized development plan for each resident based on current interests and desired experiences. This personalized plan may be altered as residents progress through the program if interests or career goals change, including the option to repeat certain rotations at the discretion of the program director. Generally, rotations are five weeks in length and are structured to provide evidence-based educational experiences tailored to the individual resident.
