Meds To Beds

Meds To Beds is a new service offered at East Alabama Medical Center through East Alabama Apothecary. This service is available Monday-Friday, 6am-6pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am-4pm, and will deliver discharge prescriptions to your room when you are ready to leave the hospital. A pharmacist will deliver and educate you and your family members regarding all of you medication needs.

These prescriptions will be billed through your prescription drug card at the set copay assigned by your insurance company. Your copays may be paid by cash, check or credit card. This is not a required program and you have the right to choose any pharmacy you would like to fill your prescriptions. You may also choose to have the initial prescription filled through East Alabama Apothecary and any refills at the pharmacy of your choosing.
