Education and Training


The Office of Clinical Research (OCR) aims to provide education opportunities for those participating in clinical and translational research. All EAH investigators and key personnel involved in conducting human subjects research are required to complete the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative Program web-based course on protection of human research subjects.

 Good Clinical Practice (GCP)

The Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative Program (CITI) offers GCP courses that are acceptable GCP training for the NIH policy.

NIH's Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research notified the research community that their Good Clinical Practice training modules that are specifically tailored to social and behavioral science researchers conducting clinical trials are  available through the Society of Behavioral Medicine, including for non-members of the Society of Behavioral Medicine.
