In addition to our team of physicians, we also have a dedicated team of nurse practitioners that serve our patients and provide excellent care.
Lynn Hudson, CRNP
Lynn Hudson, CRNP has worked at East Alabama Health for 14 years and has been with Endocrinology and Metabolism of East Alabama since 2013. She was raised in Valley, Alabama and now resides in Opelika. Lynn earned her BSN from Auburn University, and then went on to earn an MSN from Troy University in 2013. She is a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist.
Lynn explains that she knew in nursing school that she wanted to be a Nurse Practitioner. “I was working full time and raising my young children, so it took me a little longer to realize that dream than I originally expected,” Hudson says. “I really do believe that God led me to my current professional role. The diabetes educator role opened in 2007 and I took a chance to come work for East Alabama Health doing something I had never done before. I was a med-surg nurse and then worked as a dialysis nurse prior to beginning with East Alabama Health.”
Lynn and her husband, Jeff, have been married for 19 years. Together they have two children, Gamston and Hannah. When she’s not working, Lynn enjoys Auburn University sporting events, reading, going to the beach, and spending time with her dog, Berkley.
