Pulmonary Rehabilitation

The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Services program specializes in treating patients with advanced pulmonary disease processes, helping to improve their quality of life. Indications for pulmonary rehab include, COPD, Emphysema, Asthma, Restrictive lung disease, Neuromuscular Disease, and some other conditions that affect your airways. The pulmonary Rehab team consists of a licensed, registered respiratory therapist and a board certified pulmonologist. Dietitians, pharmacists and exercise physiologists help throughout different aspects of the program to teach about disease management, stress reduction, nutrition, and medications.

Classes are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at three time intervals. The total rehab program lasts for 32 sessions. Enrollment requires a referral by your primary care physician. The Pulmonary rehab therapist can assist you with gaining the referral necessary to participate in this program.
