The Education Department is housed in the East Alabama Health Education Center located at 2027 Pepperell Parkway. Our vision is to be a national leader in developing a quality workforce through our mission to provide high-quality educational opportunities and promote employee development.
There are numerous classes and events offered at the Education Center throughout the year. Many classes provide continuing education credits for healthcare professionals. East Alabama Health is an approved provider for the Alabama Board of Nursing and the Alabama Board of Social Work Examiners.
East Alabama Health also offers a variety of scholarship opportunities and a tuition reimbursement program for current and perspective employees who are eligible.
