Educational Opportunities
Educational Opportunities
There are many educational opportunities provided by East Alabama Health to help you reach a higher level of education and advance your career. EAH even helps you save for future college expenses for your dependents by contributing to your college savings plan on an annual basis.
529 College Savings
EAH matches 25% of your contributions annually up to a certain amount depending on the age of your dependents and how many accounts you have. EAH is one of the few companies in the state that matches 529 contributions, which in turn helps you plan more for your children’s future.
Scholarship Program and Tuition Reimbursement
Through the scholarship program, East Alabama Health pays your tuition up front in exchange for your contracted work commitment. On the other end of the spectrum, the tuition reimbursement program can help reimburse your tuition and fees if you application for assistance is approved.
Pathways to Advancement (P2A) and Professional Development
Through the P2A program, employees attend classes hourly each week while they are at work. At the end of the class, employees are able to go back to school to further their education or apply for higher level positions within the organization. EAH also offers a wide range of workshops and classes on campus and virtually to help employees with skills building and furthering their education in their select field.
