Planned Giving

Planned giving can benefit East Alabama Health as well as your estate

Planned Giving

Making a planned gift is a wonderful way to show your support and appreciation for East Alabama Health (EAH) and its mission while accommodating your own personal, financial, estate-planning, and philanthropic goals. With smart planning, you may increase the size of your estate and/or reduce the tax burden on your heirs. Just as important, you will know that you have made a meaningful contribution to EAH.

We recommend that you familiarize yourself with various planned gift options, by consulting with your attorney and financial advisor, and of course, please contact us for assistance or to discuss your personal situation and objectives.

Five Ways to Make a Planned Gift

  • A percentage of your estate or a specific dollar amount
  • Retirement plans distribution or beneficiary
  • Property, such as real estate or stock, which has increased in value
  • Life insurance policies
  • A charitable gift annuity – given now, receive an immediate tax credit, and receive a fixed amount of income for your lifetime.

The Legacy Society

Planned giving is visionary giving. People like you see a future where East Alabama Health continues to provide our growing community with the highest quality healthcare close to home. Your gifts are inspirational, and we honor our planned giving donors by recognizing them in our annual report as Legacy Society donors.
